We are going to introduce you to the 2 Cosori 7-in-1 multi-functional pressure cooker sizes that are on offer in the UK and what features you get in both of them. You have a 2 litre size and a 6 litre size to choose from and we’re going to do an overview of both of them so you can get a taste of what each can do.

COSORI 7-in-1 Mini Electric Pressure Cooker, 2 Litre Overview

The Cosori pressure cooker 2 litre, which is the same as the Cosori pressure cooker 2 quart in the US, is a handy small appliance that can do what it’s big brothers can.

You can pressure cook, slow cook, saute and steam but in a smaller capacity. This is the perfect cooking appliance for a single person or a couple who want to be making smaller amounts. It’s been designed for smaller households and although it looks good enough to leave on the countertop it can easily be store in a cupboard. It’s even small enough to take away with you on holiday if you have access to electricity and want a convenient multi-cooker to use. 2 litres might not be big enough to fit a whole chicken but you can cook chicken portions in there.

You can cook meat in this mini pressure cooker as well as soups and stews. It lends itself to making one pot meals because it’s size and you can make a pot of rice without having too much left over. It also comes with a delay time feature which means you can prep your meal and set it to come on and complete cooking for when you come in from work. If you’re late it also has an automatic keep warm feature so no worries there. All of this is accessed from the digital panel on the front of the cooker.

If you’re wondering how safe it is, well it has all the normal safety features of a larger pressure cooker, 9 in total. The lid is sealed under pressure until all of the steam is released and it has hand buttons near the handle to set the pressure and release it without having to put your hands near the steam. The lid is attached to the side of the pressure cooker but is easily removed for cleaning.

The Cosori 2 litre comes with a stainless steel inner pot, like the Instant Pot which is a feature people seem to want as they don’t like cooking on non-stick surfaces, it’s also easy to clean without the fear of scratching any coatings off. If you want to use the slow cooker option it also comes with a glass lid so you can see the progress of cooking and you get a spare gasket, small steam rack ,a plastic spoon and measuring cup. COSORI 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker, 6 Litre Overview

If you have a bigger family then you will be needing the Cosori 6 Litre Pressure Cooker. With a bigger size you can cook a large piece of meat or a whole chicken if you wish as well as one pot meals. You don’t have to have a large family to use this you can make smaller portions.

You can pressure cook, steam, slow cook and sear in this cooker and you have different levels of pressure for cooking different foods. Don’t think that this will be confusing though as for all of the different cooking options it pre-sets the pressure and the time.

There is an adjust button where it can give you a shorter option or longer on the menu option you have chosen but you also have the up and down button so you can set it to the time you want if you know you want it on a different time.

Its a fairly easy to use control panel but if you read the Cosori 6 Litre Pressure Cooker reviews on Amazon.co.uk there is an excellent video on there that explains all of the control panel buttons and choices if you prefer a visual explanation.

You also have a delay timer feature which can be very handy if you have to go out and want a meal ready when you return.

This 6L pressure cooker has the same 9 safety features as the smaller 2 litre with the same button release on the handle on the lid. The lid slides into a hinge which means you don’t have rings of water on your worktop from the lid after cooking as the water runs down the lid on the rim of the pressure cooker and into the water collector that is clipped on the side of the pressure cooker.

The Cosori 6 Litre pressure cooker comes with a stainless steel inner pot, steam rack with a removable central post for easy removal, a spare gasket, spoon, ladle and rice measuring pot. It also has a see through lid that you can use for the slow cooking function and on the 6 litre there is a handle on the pressure cooker so you can easily move it onto the table if you want to serve from the pot.

Summary

For the most part both of these Cosori electric pressure cookers are the same, it really depends on whether you will only cook small meals or not that will help you decide which size to go for. The majority of Cosori reviews are positive and both sizes offer a cheaper alternative to the Instant Pot. I particularly like the 2 litre version as you tend to get less options in smaller pressure cookers like the Pressure King Pro 3 Litre  and this little appliance can hold it’s own with the bigger versions.
